Ryan Turner
Recruitment & Industrial Relations Consultant
Ryan began his career as a Boilermaker, spending years on the tools in fabrication and welding before joining Mentis Australia in 2013. Over more than a decade, he progressed from Boilermaker to Leading Hand, Workshop Manager, and ultimately WA Operations Manager, leading teams while driving operational performance and workforce development.
Throughout his leadership journey, Ryan discovered that success comes down to people - showing up, listening, and creating environments where teams can perform at their best. Guided by strong mentors, he became a mentor himself, building lasting professional relationships along the way.
After taking time to return to the tools and reconnect with tradespeople firsthand, Ryan gained renewed insight into the realities, challenges, and expectations faced on site today - experience he now brings into recruitment.
